Welcome to my homepage which offers a brief overview of who I am, what I’m interested in and what I do. Some pages are still under construction, but I hope to have everything up soon. I came to Concordia University in July 2008 and I am Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. Whilst I had been living in the beautiful city of Montreal before taking up my position and have been (elsewhere) in Canada for some years now, I am originally from the UK and have found my way here via Japan, Finland and other places that you’ll come across on other pages.
Please navigate around the pages listed at the top. I have varied interests but they can be summed up in three general areas - Urban Indigenous Studies // Place, Indigeneity and Belonging // Ethnography, Moral Practice and Embodied Experience (see the RESEARCH page for more information).
