Home

Welcome to my homepage which offers a brief overview of who I am, what I’m interested in and what I do. I joined the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Concordia University in 2008. While I had been living in the beautiful city of Montreal before taking up my position, I am originally from the UK and have found my way here via Japan, Finland and other places in Canada.

Please navigate around the pages listed at the top. I have varied interests but they can be summed up in three general areas – (Urban) Indigenous Studies // Place and Belonging // Engagement and Participatory Practices (see the RESEARCH page/menu for more information – also see the Nunalijjuaq website for more information on my SSHRC Insight project).
